Summer Reading program to begin
“Adventure awaits youth at Roseville Library,” says Librarian Ann McIntyre as she announces the annual Summer Reading program will start June 8. Open to children grades K-3, and 4-6, the program will run through July 31. The first Pre-school story hour will be held Tuesday, June 9, at 10 a.m. at the library. Adults are also invited to participate in a Pre-school-read-to-me-program. Those interested are asked to stop at the library to pick up a folder to take home with them. The folder should be used to keep track of the stories read to the children. When the folder is filled, returned it to the library. For every five books read, children participating will be eligible for an award. Fourth-6th graders who read three books of 100 pages or more will also be eligible for an award. Mrs. McIntyre urges parents to stop at the library to sign up for the program. For more information call at 426-2336, during office hours.
