Tate announces candidacy for Warren County Treasurer 9/24/2009
Long-time Warren County Deputy Treasurer, Kathy (Bruyn) Tate announces her candidacy for Warren County Treasurer in the primary election on the Republican Ballot. She has 26 years of experience in the Treasurer’s office and was appointed acting Treasurer between administrations. Tate is a life-long resident of Warren County. Her parents are Raymond and Betty Bruyn. She just recently celebrated 33 years of marriage to her husband Hal. They have 3 children, Gentry (Courtney), Aaron (Jessica), and Katie. They are very proud grandparents to 5 grandchildren and a new addition on the way. She is a member of the First Lutheran Church and has been a member of the Warren County Republican Women for 26 years. She was an active member of the Monmouth Sports Boosters for 16 years and served as treasurer for 14 years. During her tenure she worked under two county treasurers, Mary Jan Darrah and Nancy Clayton. This has given her a great opportunity to learn from them and will use that experience to better serve the citizens of Warren County. She looks forward to continuing the same excellent, efficient service that the citizens deserve and would ask for your support in the Feb. 2, 2010 primary election.
