Alfred L. Baldner
Alfred L. Baldner, 99, Macomb, formerly of Colchester, died at 12:45 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at Wesley Health Care Center, Macomb.
He was born Oct. 31, 1909, in Industry, the son of Phillip and Lucy (Daily) Baldner.
He married Grace M. Levingston on Oct. 29, 1936, in Monmouth. She preceded him in death April 6, 2005.
He is survived by two sons, Roger Baldner, Tuscon, Ariz., and Jack Baldner, Peoria; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Grace Haney, Rogers, Ark.
In addition to his wife and his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Clarence Baldner, and two sisters, Marie Douglas and Ada Keys.
He was a tool and dye maker at NTN Bower and Yetter Manufacturing.
He was a member of the Colchester First Christian Church, AF AM Lodge 17, Macomb and The Quincy Consistory.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at Jones Mortuary, Colchester, with the Rev. Jim Oliver officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Macomb.
