Marilyn Bressler, 74, Macomb, died peacefully at 4 a.m., Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.
She was born Feb. 26, 1934, in Canton, the daughter of Walter and Leila (Hedden) Hahn.
She married Delbert “Del” Bressler on Sept. 3, 1954, in East Peoria. He survives.
She is also survived by four children, Dawn (Bob) Veach, Alpharetta, Ga., Lori (Reed) Romania, Rancho Mirage, Calif., Dan (Nancy) Bressler, Macomb, and Lee (Bob) Smith, Macomb; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pat Fitton, Largo, Fla., and Carole Gruber, Ft. Myers, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
She lived in Bartonville and Canton before moving to Macomb in 1968. She was a member of the Jerusalem United Methodist Church, Bushnell, since 1969.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Jerusalem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Al Simonson officiating.
Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Macomb.
Memorials may be made to either the Jerusalem United Methodist Church or McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program.
