Rhode L. (Lawver) Davis, 47, Floral City, Fla., died at 10:35 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at her sister’s home in Industry.

She was born April 22, 1961, in Havana, the daughter of Elmer and Delores Mae (Dober) Lawver.

She married Larry Davis in Vandalia.

She is survived by her father of Pekin; and four sisters, Darlene Westlake, Ipava, Crystal (Alan) Welker, Vermont, Carla (Steve) Poppenhager, Industry, and Leanna (Ron) Ludwig, Peoria.

She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Carl Lawver.

She was a nanny in Florida for several years.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

There will be no services.

Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery at a later date.

Shawgo Memorial Home, Astoria, is in charge of arrangements.
