Mattie M. Hare, 97, Palmyra, Mo., formerly of Rushville, died at 6:55 a.m., Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home, Palmyra.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at Wood Funeral Home, Rushville, with the Rev. Steve Pichaske officiating.

Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Maple Lawn Nursing Home or the First United Methodist Church.
