Kenneth Sargent, 87, Rushville, died at 12:33 p.m., Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Wood Funeral Home, Rushville, with the Rev. Steve Pichaske officiating.

Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Beardstown VFW Post 1239.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
