Margie P. Voorhees, 82, Bushnell, died at 1:05 a.m., Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Heartland Healthcare Center, Macomb.

She was born Oct. 29, 1926, in Bushnell, the daughter of Ennis and Edith (Haigh) Bartlett.

She married Carl Voorhees on June 23, 1956, in Bushnell. He preceded her in death Sept. 3, 1992.

She is survived by two brothers, Jim Bartlett and Elda Bartlett, both of Bushnell, and one sister, Jo Anne Legge, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Cremation rites have been accorded with no visitation or services.

Martin-Hollis Funeral Home, Bushnell, is in charge of arrangements.
