Catherine E. Helms, 57, Bushnell, died at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at her daughter’s residence, Macomb.

She was born June 5, 1951, in Macomb, the daughter of Jerald W. and Delores A. (Lester) Pendell.

She is survived by her mother of Macomb; two daughters, Brandi Helms, Burlington, Iowa, and Wendi Helms, Macomb; four grandchildren, Mariah Wynn, Carter Helms, Zachary Thompson and Kinser Springer; one great-grandchild, Kameo Winters; three brothers, Michael Holmes, Columbia, Mo., Bruce Holmes, Macomb, and Jerald E. Pendell, Kansas City, Mo.; four sisters, Tamra JoAnn Crouch, Warrensburg, Mo., Teri Jalane Moore, Boonville, Mo., Susan Lorene Holmes, Columbia, Mo., and Shelley Louise Grubbs, Union, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her father and stepfather, Robert Holmes.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date. Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home, Macomb, is in charge of arrangements.
