Thelma (Craig) Mackie
WILLIAMSFIELD-Thelma A. Mackie, 95, Williamsfield, died at 8:20 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at Heartland Health Care Center in Galesburg.
She was born March 9, 1913, in McCall, the daughter of Carl and Nell (Jones) Craig. She married Harold Mackie Dec. 10, 1935, in Victoria. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 1962. She later married Robert F. Mackie June 15, 1968, in Williamsfield. He preceded her in death June 19, 1984.
She is survived by three daughters, Reta Ann (Wayne “Barney”) Ott, Dahinda, Sue Meyer, Avon, and Jacque (Russ) Galbreath, Williamsfield; seven grandchildren, Martie (Tina), Mark (Susan) and Michael (Meg) Ott, Craig (Leslie) Johnson, Joshua and Zachary Galbreath and Tasi (Michael) Mackie; two stepgrandchildren, Brian (Larinda) Meyer and Kerri Ritter; 12 great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, two brothers and a granddaughter-in-law.
Thelma graduated from Victoria High School.
She had worked as a cook at Williamsfield school and a postal clerk at the Williamsfield and East Galesburg post offices.
She was a member of Williamsfield United Methodist Church and its Circle 3. She also was a member of Center Prairie Social Club.
She was a Cubs' fan and enjoyed reading and her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, in the Williamsfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randy Douglass officiating.
Burial was in Victoria cemetery.

Rux Funeral Home in Williamsfield was in charge of arrangements.
