Irma W. Adkisson, 82, Roseville, died at 1:06 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, at Heartland Health Care Center, Macomb.

She was born Nov. 11, 1926, in Roseville, the daughter of George E. and Aurel Maude (Taylor) White.

She married Robert Adkisson on Sept. 17, 1949, in Roseville. He survives.

She is also survived by one son, Stanley Adkisson, Cedaredge, Colo.; one daughter, Robyn Adkisson, West Burlington, Iowa; two grandchildren, Nathan Adkisson and Lauren Adkisson, both of Cedaredge, Colo.; one sister, Helen W. Weidenheim, Highland Park; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a medical technologist at McDonough District Hospital from 1972-90.

She has been cremated and a memorial service is pending.

Memorials may be made to the Warren Public Library.

Corman Memorial Home, Roseville, is in charge of arrangements.
