OAKFORD-Christopher “Clay’’ Becker, 15, of Oakford, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at his residence.

He was born March 24, 1994, in Peoria, the son of Christopher W. and Sarah Kate (Worman) Becker.

He is survived by his parents, of Oakford; his maternal great-grandmother, Lois Smith, Macomb; maternal grandparents, Robert and Judy Worman, Good Hope; paternal grandparents, Bill and Dalene Becker, New Berlin; three aunts, Emma (David) McKinnon, Springfield, Orlinda (Dennis) Workman, Auburn, and Amy (Gene) Shoemaker, New Berlin; two uncles, Kevin (Amy) Becker, New Berlin, and Brett (fiancée Samantha) Becker, Franklin. He is also survived by many cousins.

Clay was a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church and Good Hope United Methodist Church.

Services were held Saturday, April 11, 2009, at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg with the Rev. John Vidakovich, and the Rev. Mary Katherine Pearce officiating.

Cremation rites followed the service.
