Darel DeCounter
Darel DeCounter, 52, of White House, Tenn., died Friday, May 1, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cate Corzott DeCounter. He is also survived by one brother, Grover (Mary Jo) DeCounter; three sisters, Connie DeCounter, Cathy Sanzoterra and Dixie (Red) Widner and numerous nieces and nephews. He was raised in Good Hope and moved to Nashville 20 years ago to continue to pursue his career in music. He played keyboard, and was a backup vocalist for The John Anderson Band for 16 years and played for multiple bands prior to that. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, Tenn., with burial following in White House Memorial Gardens. |
