Carol Beth Hickman, 72, of Macomb, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2009, at McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.

 

She was born Jan. 9, 1937, in Macomb to Cecil and Ella Stoneking Friday.

She married Robert Lee Hickman May 1, 1954, in Macomb. He preceded her in death Dec. 22, 2003.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Janet Sue Willey, Bardolph; two sons, Curtis Alan Hickman and Gary Lee Hickman, both of Macomb; three grandchildren, Chad Hickman, Eric Willey and Melissa Willey; one great-grandchild, Aaliyah Jiggetts and one brother, Calvin Friday, Macomb.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Macomb, VFW and American Legion Auxiliary.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

The Rev. Steven Workman will officiate.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary. Please sign guestbook at www.dodsworthfh.com.
