Alexander Nagy
Alexander Nagy, 82, of Warsaw, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at his home in Warsaw.
He was born on Aug. 27, 1926, in Hungary, to Imre and Elisabeth Bozsa Nagy. He married Elisabeth Eordogh May 10, 1953, in Keokuk, Iowa. She survives in Warsaw. He is also survived by two sons, Gabe and Kathy (Stump) Nagy, Warsaw and Paul and Cindy (Hieatt) Nagy, Tucson, Ariz.; three grandsons and one great-grandson, Gabriel and Annette (Bangert) Nagy, and their son, Sawyer, Warsaw; Alex Nagy, Warsaw and Paul and Julie "Kylie" (Sieme) Nagy, Tucson, Ariz.; one granddaughter, Christine Nagy, Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Yulianna Nagy of Budapest, Hungary and one sister-in-law, Vilma Eordogh, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Imre and Gabor. He worked for the Hubinger Company of Keokuk, Iowa for 35 years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside memorial services were held Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Oakland Cemetery, Warsaw.
