Carolann Salazar

Carolann Salazar, 71, formerly of Augusta, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, in Good Shepherd Home, Golden.

She was born on July 18, 1937, in Colchester, to Chester Rolland and Elinora Marie Loop Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two daughters, Valerie Arellano, Lakewood, Colo., and Kimberly Brown, Big Sandy, Texas; four grandchildren, Nathan Brown, Savana Bleidt, Tyler Davey and Bailey Arellano; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Uptmore and Alexis Brown; four brothers, Jeri (Pat) Brown, Pasedena, Texas, Thomas H. Brown, Augusta, Gerald W. Brown, Oceanside, Calif., and Chester R. (Zada) Brown, Payson; and three sisters, Analie (Johnny) Wright, Plymouth, Mariolu Whitaker, Macomb, and Rebecca (Russell) Poling, Augusta.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Graveside services were held Friday, June 5, 2009, in Moss Ridge cemetery, Carthage, with the Rev. Tom Spain officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Golden Good Shepherd Home.

The Hamilton Funeral Home, Augusta is handling arrangements.
