Tammy Jo Burket

Tammy Jo Burket, 46, of Altoona, Pa., died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at the Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona.

She was born December 28, 1962 in Macomb, to the late William Nessel “Budd” and Mary Jo (Myers) Herron.

She is survived by three daughters, Kayla, Britni and Mackenzie, all of Altoona, Pa.; two brothers, Scott (Tami) Herron, Abingdon, and Doug (Alicia) Herron, Hollidaysburg; and several nieces and nephews.

She worked as Assistant Regional Manager for Area Wide Protective. She was a graduate of Spoon River Valley High School, London Mills.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home, Bushnell, with Pastor Dave Eden officiating.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Burial of ashes will be in the Bushnell Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family of Tammy Jo Burket to be placed in a scholaship fund for her daughters.
