Charles Yancy Jackson Jr.



Charlees Yancy Jackson Jr., 62, of Cleburne, Texas, formally of Bushnell, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at his home.

He was born May 21, 1947 to Charles Yancy and Luella (Giest) Jackson in Hannibal, Mo. He married Sue Porter in 1966 in Bushnell. He later married Charlotte Ruark. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by his parents in Bushnell; two daughters, Amber Dawn Jackson, Midlothian, Texas, and Misty Lynn (Thomas) Hill, Burleson, Texas; one son, Steven Christopher (Heather) Jackson, Keller, Texas; two grandsons, John Johnson and Cailsey Hill; five granddaughters, Chasity Hackelman, Hannah and Ella Jackson, Bailey Hill and Connie Chavera; two brothers, Richard (Ed) Jackson, Bushnell, and Donald Jackson, Fulton, Mo.

Charles served in the United States Air Force from 1973-1980 and was also a truck driver.

A memorial service was held Saturday, June 27 at Rosser Funeral Home, Cleburne, Texas, with the Rev. Randy McLelland officiating.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Bushnell.
