Imogene (Naugle) Palmer
KENNEWICK, Wash.-Imogene Marie (Naugle) Palmer, died at 1 p.m. June 18, 2009.
She was born Nov. 17, 1928, the daughter of Herbert and Winnifred (Young) Best.
She is survived by her husband, Roy L. Palmer; six children, Sandra (Tom) Maloy, Galesburg, Mark (Christi) Naugle, Richland , Wash., Philip (Shari) Naugle, Abingdon, Lisa (Victor) Meling, West Richland, Wash., Jeff Naugle, Richland, Wash., and Daniel Naugle, Richland, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Patti (Palmer) Salerno; 13 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two step grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three others on the way; two sisters, Faye (Ralph) Wenstrom, Galesburg, and Barbara Bennet, Anaheim, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Valorie.
She was a homemaker, having worked at many tasks in her lifetime. She moved from Illinois to Washington and eventually retired as a nuclear operator from Westinghouse Hanford Company.
Services were held Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland, Wash.
