Tammy Jo (Herron) Burket

ALTONA, Pa.-Tammy Jo Burket, 46,  Altoona, Pa., formerly of London Mills, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus, following her courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 28, 1962, in Macomb, the daughter of the late William Nessel “Budd’’ and Mary Jo (Myers) Herron.
She is survived by three daughters, Kayla, Britni and Mackenzie, all of Altoona, Pa.; two brothers Scott (Tamie) Herron, Abingdon, and Doug (Alicia) Herron of Hollidaysburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Tammy worked as an assistant regional manager for Area Wide Protective. She was a graduate of Spoon River Valley High School, London Mills.
Cremation rites were accorded. Memorial services were held Friday, July 3, 2009, in Martin-Hollis Funeral Home, Bushnell, with Pastor Dave Eden officiating.
Burial of ashes were in Bushnell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family of Tammy Jo Burket to be placed in a scholarship fund for her daughters.
