Maxine Danner

Maxine Danner, 85, Canton, died at noon Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Proctor Hospital, Peoria.
She was born January 24, 1924, in Kerton Township, Fulton County, to Clayton and Eva Mae (Trone) Tippey. She married Dayle Danner on February 14, 1948, in Macomb.  He survives.
She is also survived by one daughter, Marsha (Brent) Micheli, Rockford; one son, Marvin (Laura) Danner, Canton; four grandsons, Troy (Flo) Horwedel and Travis Horwedel, both of Daytona, Fla., Ryan Danner, Canton, and Frank Micheli, Rockford; two granddaughters, Holly Jo (Jose Reyes) Danner, Colorado Springs, Co., and Renae Micheli, Rockford; two great-grandsons, Jake and Ethan Micheli, Rockford; one great-granddaugther, Kailey Micheli, Rockford; and one brother, Robert Tippey, Brooklyn.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Willard Tippey.
Maxine was a homemaker.  She also worked as a seamstress and worked for Art Herink, Vermont, repairing furniture.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2009, at Shawgo Memorial Home, Astoria, with Pastor Doug Krukewitt officiating.
Burial will be at Vermont Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Friday
Memorials may be made to Vermont Rescue Squad or Vermont Cemetery.
