Scott D. Woodford


Scott D. Woodford, 56, of Adair, died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, while working at Sanganois Wildlife Preserve near Chandlerville.
He was born Nov. 9, 1952, in Macomb to Delbert and Barbara (Woolley) Woodford. He married Martha Sullivan on Sept. 16, 1994 in Macomb. She survives.
He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Woodford, of Macomb; four children, Bridget (Gary Moffitt) Woodford, Springfield, Barry Woodford, Macomb, Amy Malott, Peoria, Greg Malott, Lake Orion, Mich.; five grandchildren, Alex and Anna Moffitt, Tycee Bates, Teria Cook, Brady Malott; two sisters, Melody McGrew, Good Hope, and Sheila Turke, Macomb; and one brother, Kent Woodford, Orlando, Fla.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Don Beacraft Construction and presently worked for Laverdiere Construction. He was a member of the former Ebenezer Church.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at the Scotland Trinity Church, with Pastor Randy Schafer officiating.
Burial will be at Pennington Point Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home, Macomb.
Memorials may be made to the Adair Fire Dept. or Scotland Trinity Church.
