Ronald G. Hampton, 67, of Rushville, died at 9:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at Shawgo Memorial Home, Astoria, with the Rev. Dixie Croxton officiating.
Military rites will be conducted by the Carroll Rankin American Legion Post #26 of Vermont, Ill.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2009, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Vermont Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or Carroll Rankin American Legion Post #26 of Vermont.
