Sonja L. Golden

Sonja L. Golden, 63, of Tennessee, died at 1:23 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital, Peoria.
She was born March 21, 1946, in Canton, to Edward James and Doris Darlene (Lieurance) Lee.
She is survived by two sons, Edward S. (Christal) Lee and Ray Edward Cook; two daughters, Doris McSparen and Ailena Cook; one step son, Jeremy Ray Cook;  one step daughter, Connie Hutchins; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Terrisa Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter; and one brother, Mike Lee.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Colchester, with the Rev. Dennis Clements officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family.
