Glen E. Carver

Glen E. Carver, 84, of 1601 East Jackson, #220, Macomb, died at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at Wesley Village Alzheimer’s Center in Macomb.

He was born Nov. 27, 1915, in Madison County, Ind., to William “Wid” and Nellie Etchison Carver. He married Gertrude Ellen Parker, who passed away. He later married Clara Louise Haines. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Judith K. Carver Bowman of Billings, Mont.; five grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Brown, Jeffrey Alan Jones, Shawn Carver, Diane Carver and Billie Jo Carver; and two great-grandchildren, Kelly Martin and Morgan Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Paul Carver; and one son, William Glen Carver.

Mr. Carver lived in Alexandria and Indianapolis, Ind., and Macomb. He worked as a carpenter and was a World War II veteran serving in the Army-Air Force.

There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private burial of ashes will be held at a later date at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Alexandria, Ind.

Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
