Betty J. Blair, age 76, of 300 North Jefferson Street, Abingdon, Illinois, passed away at 8:50 a.m.Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000 at the Care Center of Abingdon.

She was born July 1923 in Roseville, Illinois, the daughter of Robert M. and Mildred Parsons Bunch. She married Samuel Blair on Oct. 15, 1941 in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1970.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Betty Jean) Wiley, Abingdon; two brothers, Robert E. Bunch, Colchester, Illinois; and Charles L. Bunch, Blandinsville, Illinois.; one sister, Louise Sparrow, York, Penn.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

She was a homemaker.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg, with Reverend Thomas Heather officiating.

Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Home, Abingdon Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
