Dorothy B. Matthews, 86, of 214 W. Kelly St., Macomb, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, at 12:33 a.m. in McDonough District Hospital.

She was born Dec. 11, 1913, to Thomas Matthews and Viola Willey.

She is survived by one nephew, Ronald Matthews of Macomb, and three nieces, Mary Depoy and Bonnie Wilson, both of Macomb, and Connie Snyder of Deerfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Desso, Harland, Otto, Forrest and Eugene Matthews; and one sister, Fern McDonna.

She worked at Haeger potteries for 22 years, and was a member of Macomb Assembly of God Church since 1952.

Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 5, at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Puccini officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
