Ryal E. Keithley
Ryal E. Keithley, 91, of Macomb, died Monday, Feb. 7, at 6:45 p.m. at the Heartland Care Center in Macomb.
He was born April 29, 1908, in LaBelle, Mo., to Sanderson and Angie Kennedy Keithley. He married Frances Leonard March 9, 1930. She died April 19, 1996.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Robert and Gilbert; and three sisters, Jewell Meeks, Forrest Grills and Abba Anderson.
Mr. Keithley was a farmer and trucker, and a deputy assessor for the city of Macomb for many years.
He was a member and former deacon of First Christian Church of Macomb. He was a member for the Farm Bureau and serves for many years on the board of directors, vice president of the former McDonough Grain & Milling Co. and for 19 years was on the board of the Producers Seed Co. state board.
Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 10, at Sargent-Worthington Funeral Home with the Rev. James Stovall officiating. Burial was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester.
