Anna Mae Dakin, 96, of Roseville, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at 10:35 a.m. in McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.

She was born Jan. 1, 1904, in Abingdon, Vir. to John and Elizabeth Gray Dakin.

She is survived by her sister Grace Cochran, Good Hope; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters

She taught school in Warren County for many years, helped her family in their farming business, and was a member of the Sciota United Methodist Church.

Last rites for were held Friday, Feb. 18 at Corman Memorial Home, Roseville. Rev. James Oliver officiated and interment was in Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery.
