Harriett I. Antonides
Harriett I. Antonides, age 83, a resident of LaMoine Christian Nursing Home, Roseville, formerly of Monmouth, passed away at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000 in the nursing home.
She was born Oct. 15, 1916, in Galesburg, the daughter of Joseph Everett and Irene Watson Ritter.
She married Claude William Antonides on Dec. 31, 1947, in Monmouth.
Surviving are one son, Errol E. Antonides, South Bend, Ind.; and three sisters, Frances Clark, Monmouth, Dorothy Jones, Abingdon, and Betty Jo Ottoson, Amarillo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers.
She lived in Monmouth most of her life, and attended Monmouth public schools.
She worked for 22 years at Community Memorial Hospital, Monmouth.
She was a member of Heritage United Presbyterian Church, where she served as deacon, taught Sunday school and was a member of United Presbyterian Women and the church ladies circle.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Turnbull Funeral Home, with Rev. David Jones officiating.
Burial was in the Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery.
