Dorothy M. Cuba

Dorothy M. Cuba, 80, of 1212 Madelyn Ave. in Macomb, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at 1:15 p.m. at Elms Nursing Home.

She was born April 8, 1919, in Macomb to David LeRoy and Roxie Frances Duncan Boyd. She married William D. Cuba Dec. 22, 1940, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by one brother, Roger L. Boyd of Havana; one brother-in-law, Ed “Bud” Lair of Industry; one sister-in-law, Esther Cuba of Macomb; two nephews, Steven Boyd of Springfield and Dale Cuba of Chillicothe; four nieces, Mary Lea Munson of Chicago, Susan Burkholder of Springfield, Becky Snively of Neoga and Levern Belmore of Pensacola, Fla.; and several great-nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Cuba had lived in Macomb since 1938, and worked for Haeger Pottery as a caster for 36 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Macomb Assembly of God Church.

Services were held Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Macomb Assembly of God Church. Burial was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Macomb Assembly of God Church.
