Wilda Kay Lawrence
Wilda Kay Lawrence, 62, of the Macomb Senior Living Center, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at 11:05 p.m. at the Senior Living Center. She was born Oct. 20, 1937, in Macomb to Henry and Katie Wilcox Lawrence. She is survived by one brother, Wayne Lawrence of Macomb; seven sisters, Martha Dansart of Rock Springs, Wyo., Ruth Booker of Junction City, Kan., Barbara Griffeth of Girard, Sharon Gamage of Pekin and Lora Butcher, Margaret Blevins and Joyce Derry, all of Macomb; and many cousins, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Wendell and Louis; and one sister, Leola Lovejoy. Mrs. Lawrence lived all her life in Macomb and attended Macomb High School. She worked for many years at Bridgeway in Macomb, and was very active at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb. Services were held Wednesday, March 1, at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb, with the Rev. Mark Myers officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation. |
