Funeral services for Robert L. Ross, 76, Addison, were held Wednesday, March 29, at 10 a.m. in the Addison Bible Church. A visitation was held that evening in Corman Memorial Home, Roseville. On Thursday, March 30, graveside services were held in Roseville Cemetery with Bob Brunk, Christian Church senior minister, officiating.

A former Roseville resident, Mr. Ross died Sunday, March 27, 2000, in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Memorials may be made to the Addison Bible Church.

The son of Lester and Pearl Lee Williams, he was born Oct. 8, 1923 in Roseville. He married Dorothy Sorenson, who survives.

He also leaves: two sons, James Ross of Princeton and David Ross, Houston, Tex.; four daughters, Barbara Resendez, Denver, Co., Debra Coe, Rochester, Mary Ann Nora, Wyanet and Suzan Warren, Tiskilwa; a stepson, Ray Seaman, Elgin; a sister, Betty Shive of Pittsfield; 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Ross was a 1943 graduate of Roseville High School, served with the Army in World War II in the European Theater, and has lived in Addison since 1977.

He was employed as cost-analyst for GTE Automatic Electric for 39 years, retiring in 1983. He attended the Addison Bible Church, where he served as trustee chairman and was an Explorer Scout leader.
